Tyngsboro, MA - Bahama Breeze is located at 413 Middlesex Road, Tyngsboro, MA 01879. Bahama Breeze is a chain with lots of restaurants on the East Coast. This is the first time I've tried Carribean cuisine. For a chain restaurant, it was quite impressive.
The restaurant has a medium sized private parking lot. The outdoor patio is visible from the outside. It's currently covered with several feet of snow. Upon entering the restaurant, I felt like I was walking into a clubhouse. The restaurant has a tiki theme with tropical patterned back cushions, hut umbrellas, and palm trees everywhere. The music selection consisted of remixes of popular songs such as Cindy Lauper's Girls Just Want to Have Fun and Al Green's Let's Stay Together.
The hostess seated us as a booth. Our waitress Jallene described everything on the menu as being awesome, which made it hard to decide what to order. I hate the server said the dishes could not be altered or customized to customer's taste buds (e.g. removing spices from the sauces for those who can't handle spices) but they made an exception for the table next to us.

Tonight, my parents and I discovered Bahama Breeze, which is located behind the Pheasant Lane Mall. In short, the food was delicious but the service was average. Our server was a bit forgetful. We liked how they ran the $3 14 oz draft beer special all day, every day. This applies to the following beers: Aruba Red, Blue Moon, Bud Light, Coors Light, Guinness, Harpoon IPA, Dos XX Lager, Miller Lite, Wachusett Blueberry, Curious Traveler's Shandy, Sam Seasonal, and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. We liked the Aruba Red. On their drink menu, they have a wide array of cocktails, which aren't expensive as well as look and taste great. I'd recommend the Bahama Mama. It consists of three types of rum (Malibu coconut rum, Myers dark rum, Barcadi rum), Banana Liqueur, and two types of juices (pineapple juice, orange juice). It is garnished with a Maraschino Cherry and Pineapple Wedge. It was a sweet tropical alcoholic beverage with a foamy top. There was a long wait for food. We were surprised that the meal didn't come with bread (or dinner rolls). My dad ordered the Wood-Grilled Turkey Burger, which was topped with caramelized onions, guacamole, vine-ripened tomato and arugula on a toasted brioche bun. For the side, my dad chose a cup of Bahamian Seafood Chowder, which consisted of creamy chowder with shellfish and vegetables, garnished with herbs, and served with oyster crackers. He loved the wood-grilled flavor of the turkey burger. He thought the seafood chowder was a bit on the spicy side but it had the right consistency of thickness. My mom ordered the Mahi & Shrimp with Lemongrass Sauce, which consisted of mahi mahi, baby shrimp, Shiitake mushrooms, bok choy, sugar snap peas, edamame and bell peppers sauteed in a zesty coconut lemongrass sauce and served over rice. She felt that this rice bowl was a bit on the spicy side and the red peppers were a bit raw. This rice bowl definitely had a Thai flare to it. The flavor of rice tasted like coconut, lemongrass, and mild curry. I ordered Grilled Chicken with Cilantro Crema, which was served with mashed potatoes and roasted corn topped with a blend of three melted cheeses drizzled with cilantro-cream sauce. I fell in love with this dish. It consisted of tender chicken breast grilled with a sweet and tangy salsa-like marinate/glaze. I loved how the restaurant added roasted corn to the mashed potatoes as well as topping it with three cheese blend. It certainly made the side more interesting (in a good way) and made the side sweet and savory at the same time. The waitress never brought the side Caesar salad I ordered. When I inquired about it, the waitress said she could bring it since she already charged me for it. Who wants a salad after entree has been served?!? The general manager John M. Brown stopped by to apologize for the possible disconnect and removed it from the check!
