After running errands at Tyson's Corner, my boyfriend and I went to Kusshi Ko, a multi-story authentic Japanese restaurant in Vienna. There were a couple of tables for 2 on main floor and additional seating upstairs. For lunch, we shared an appetizer, an entree, and a sushi roll. The Agedashi Tofu consisted of tempura battered soft tofu fried, served in a sweet dashi broth, and topped with bonito flakes. We were deciding between the Yakisoba and Oyako Don and our server recommended the Oyako Don. The Oyako Don consisted of sautéed chicken, fried egg, onions, and scallions over sticky rice. The flavors were kind of light. It would have been great if it was finished with a sweet and savory sauce. We shared the Ovi roll, which consisted of marinated salmon, avocado, sesame oil, and furikake topped with seared fatty salmon, mayo, ikura, and cilantro. Every bite was tasty!
