Nalley Fresh - Kentlands

Nalley Fresh is a place where you can order off the menu as well as customize your own salad, bowl, or wrap! When it comes to customizing a salad bowl, you have a choice of: lettuce mix, protein, fresh toppings, cheese, and homemade dressing. Today, the featured soups were Chicken Noodle Soup and Butternut Squash Soup and the featured proteins were Falafal, Buffalo Chicken, Grilled Chicken, Tuna, Herb Roasted Salmon (+$3), Old Bay Shrimp, Blackened Chicken, Jerk Beef, and Gumbo Tofu. Today, I chose to customize a salad, a blend of spinach and spring mix, topped with albacore tuna (since it's meatless Friday's during Lent), sweet corn, mushrooms, black olives, roasted beets, craisins, sweet potatoes, artichoke hearts, and sunflower seeds, tossed in a raspberry citrus vinaigrette. I liked how it was customizable, healthy, and fresh.
