It was a nice day in Bethesda so the wait for patio seating was more than half an hour. The hostess sat us at a table for two by the window. For brunch, we ordered two iced teas, two salads, and two crepes. After we placed our order, our server Greg brought us a baguette with freshly whipped butter and raspberry jam.

The Salad Maison consisted of mixed greens, fennel, and tomatoes lightly tossed in a house-made lemon-dijon vinagrette and garnished with micro greens. The salad was fresh but the salad dressing was a bit sour on the stomach.

The Frisee, Kale, and Warm Bacon Salad consisted of frisee, kale, and shredded purple cabbage tossed in a sweet and tangy citrus vinaigrette topped with a soft-poached egg. We substituted the warm bacon for deli ham.

The Chicken + Mushroom Crepe consisted of a thin sweet crepe filled with chicken, mushroom, and brie served with kale salad.

The Seafood Crepe consisted of a thin sweet crepe filled with peas and savory cream topped with sauteed shrimps and scallops and fresh herbs served with kale salad.
