Noodle King Restaurant is a Chinese Restaurant that serves authentic Cantonese cuisine. It's been featured as one of the Top 100 Chinese Restaurants in the USA. The restaurant is located at 12705 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland 20904. They share a parking lot with Hollywood Beer & Wine. The chef has over 35 years of culinary experience. Despite new ownership in April 2012, the food has remained consistently good.

The menu is booklet style with multiple pages, detailing Beer & Wine, Appetizers, Salads, Soups, Congee, Poultry, Beef, Seafood, Chef's Specialties, Noodles, Noodle in a Bowl, Hong Kong Style Noodle Soup, Casserole, Cantonese Style Poultry, Pork, Vegetables, Lo Mein/Fried Rice/Chow Mein/Egg Foo Young, Stylized Rice, and Lunch Combinations.

My favorite items of the night were (1) Beef Kew, French Style, (2) Xiamen Style Rice Noodles, (3) Eight Treasures Casserole, and Sautéed Snowpea Leaves.

The Beef Kew, French Style consisted of wok-fried steak tips served with broccoli in a sweet and savory brown sauce.

The Xiamen Style Rice Noodles consisted of mei fun cooked with chicken, shrimp, bell peppers, onions, bean sprouts, and egg a light sweet and sour sauce.

The Eight Treasures Casserole consisted of braised fish, roast pork, chicken, scallops, squid, imitation crab, braised tofu, carrots, napa cabbage, and snowpeas in a flavorful brown gravy served in a casserole pot.
